Atlanta shooting suspect is charged with murder and 4 counts of aggravated assault

The man accused of opening fire inside an Atlanta medical facility Wednesday, killing one person and injuring four others, is being charged with murder and aggravated assault, Fulton County, Ga., jail records show. After an hours-long search, officials apprehended the alleged gunman, 24-year-old Deion Patterson, who was arrested in Cobb County — northwest of the city — shortly before 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, according to the Cobb County Police Department.

ESPN announced Wednesday that longtime host John Saunders has died. He was 61 years old. The Canadian-born Saunders joined ESPN in 1986. He was best known as the host of "The Sports Reporters."
